We will only share your photos with your written consent and will never tag you or list your name or contact information.
Many of our clients allow us to share their images in our portfolio and we are always extremely honoured when we hear they love their photos so much that they want them shared with the world.
After your photos have been released to you, we will discuss your privacy preferences and you’ll approve which photos can be shared and not shared.
If you prefer to keep your photos 100% private, they will never see the light of day.
The more fun you have with your wardrobe, the more fun you’ll have taking pictures, so really go for it!
When people think “boudoir”, lingerie usually the first idea to come to mind. Lingerie is the most popular wardrobe choice amongst our clients and for good reason. Lingerie can include two piece sets, bodysuits, corsets, garter belts, stockings, robes and beyond.
That being said, we are a huge fan of (what we call) “everyday pieces” that you most likely already have hanging in your wardrobe. My aesthetic very much centers around feeling “effortlessly chic”. To achieve this, pair lingerie (or sometimes nothing at all) with a few simple pieces can elevate your look.
A few of our current favourites: A cotton button down shirt, sweaters and cardigans, sheer dresses, bridal veils, a pair of jeans, a simple white t-shirt, blazers, jackets, etc. The list could go on and on.
Fit is the absolute most important thing when it comes to any garment. When it comes to lingerie, finding a piece that is well structured is key.
We recommend against items that flair away from the body, such as “babydolls”, because these tend to make most women look wider through their midsections than they actually are.
We also recommend steering clear of items fitted and sized for men, like men’s button down shirts and sports jerseys. Most of the time, these pieces end up being WAY too big. Clothing that is tailored for women will always be more flattering.
Yes, you must be at least 18 to shoot with us. If you happen to look great for your age, please don’t be offended if I ask you for photo ID as proof (you lucky thing!)
This is probably my most frequently asked question. A little body awareness does help but is 100% non-essential for you to spend time perfecting your poses before a shoot. We’ll use a selection of my favourite boudoir poses as inspiration, though I’m always secretly working with your natural body movements and nuances in between poses to make the shoot unique to you. There’s something so powerful in body language that when you do something naturally that looks incredible, I’ll say ‘freeze!’ and we’ll shoot it. It will be the most fun mannequin challenge you’ve ever experienced! After all, shoots are all about having fun; we’ll put on some of your favourite music, have a little boogie – this is about empowering you to feel confident and sexy in front of the camera so that you associate all those feelings with being happy. It’s really is going to be an experience to remember forever!
Please, please do NOT get a spray tan! Whilst it may be tempting to add a little sun-kissed glow to your skin before a boudoir shoot, more often than not your spray tan will appear streaky, patchy or orange/green (yes, green) on camera, I guarantee it. I personally recommend ditching the fake tan – and sunbeds too whilst we’re on the subject – and rocking bare skin, or maybe treating yourself some shimmer body lotion to give your skin that dewy glow and offer a touch of contouring.
